SPC George Mercuri in Ballad, Iraq

Hi Everyone!

SGT George Mercuri has returned for a short R & R of 15 days only . . . . .I thought I would surprise Dusty at her work place, well I sure did, there were many tears of joy as our son George brought her in Roses and completely surprised her

In Recognition to Mr. Richard Ray of Dollar Rent-A-Car in East Boston for his support and commitment to our troops. The flag was flown over Balad, IRAQ and given by SGT Mercuri to
Mr. Ray upon SGT Mercuri’s return the other day.

Now that might be a good story for our website as an update to what is happening with members of our church serving in the military, George recently was promoted on 4 Oct 07 to Sergeant (SGT) and he was also requested to attend a Veteran’s Organization called the “DugOut Club” as their keynote speaker to discuss his job duties and responsibilities and the military environment in IRAQ. I might say very proudly that George did an Outstanding Job speaking before many Active and Retired Brigadier Generals(0-7) and Full Bird Colonels (0-6).
