Welcome to The Witness of First Baptist Church of Malden, MA.

The Witness Online is published by  First Baptist Church  located in 493 Main Street, Malden, MA. 02149-5107.

Realizing the need to communicate God’s love to everyone, The Witness Online has  continued to progress since its first internet publication in 2003.

Today, The Witness Online extends this Christian outreach to everyone around the world 24/7 telling that life is interesting and brings joy to honest seekers for truth. Points of interests about church life, daily living, and relationships are included to enhance learning and application of truth which leads to a transformed life in Christ.

Statement of Faith:

• We believe in One God, all powerful, all knowing, and present everywhere existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• That Jesus is fully man and fully God, and that in His person He is the perfect expression of God’s love for everyone.
• That God desires a personal relationship with us, and that by His grace, through Jesus Christ, we are set free from the bondage of sin if we believe in Him.
• That man has sinned and come short of the Glory of God
• That Jesus Christ is the Messiah, conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and that when He died on the cross, through His blood bore the penalty of our sins.
• That Jesus rose from the grave on the third day in victory over death and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father.
• That the only way  to be saved from sin is to unconditionally accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
• That by becoming His disciple means to obey Him and love God with all our heart and soul and mind and love our neighbor as we love ourselves;
• Submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit and seek His guidance through the Bible;
• Seek fellowship and worship with other believers in the church; and
• Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation (Mark 16:15)

It is the desire of The Witness staff and all its contributors to remain true to our statement of faith, stay in close fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and do the work in God’s Wisdom and strength, always showing faith in all that we do. And that in regards to the quality of service, will strive to maintain high quality of workmanship that dignifies and enhances the presentation of the Good News of Jesus Christ…that by doing so become good stewards of the work entrusted to us.
